Congrats on your new Omni 6+ Tim.  You might take a look at the hand mic
by Heil.  Then compare it with the hand mic on the Elecraft page.  They
look the same, only Elecraft is somewhat less in price.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a hand mike for the VI+ that would be
any better than Ten Tec's? I have just purchased a VI+ but will need a
handmike. I'm 90% cw, but may as well have a decent mike. Thanks for any
