[TenTec] Question regarding Omni VI+ on SSB

I get good audio reports and use 2.8 Inrad filters with an ElectroVoice 664.
Seems to work for me...the Schure 55S was also good, but I think a little
too bass.
I had to use the Yaesu 990 when I was fixing the Omni6+  (swr bridge and a
surface mount opamp got too many electrons from the antenna I guess) and
found it to be awful...too much noise and hiss by comparison.
