Dick,

Entering 4263 as a Bird search yields nothing...  The two types of samplers 
are 4273 and 4275...

Eric,

I use a Bird 4263 RF Sampler. It's designed for exactly what you want to do.
You put it inline with the coax, and it has a sampling port for your scope
probe. Insertion loss is minimal. See the following link, near the bottom of
