[TenTec] Pegasus LDG internal tuner

Hi all...
Some years ago I purchased a used Pegasus with an early LDG internal ant tuner..the one without a memory.
I have since pulled the ant tuner and want to use it as a remote tuner and it has the following nomenclature on the pc board:
RT-11 remote autotuner V3.16
one of the chips has  PT 1.4 written on a sticker on top
The tuner has 4 connections...power, rf in, rf out and a green wire....anyone know what is the function of the green wire? 
I plan to install the autotuner in a weather proof container with appropriate chokes etc.
Wonder how suscessable these autotuners are to static electricity?
Any upgrades for this tuner?
