Skip, There are a lot of rigs out there using mini stereo jacks and plugs for paddles input. Obviously you have not kept up with all the manufacturers save the ones you already own. Many of the kit rigs, and specialty rigs, (small mobiles have gone away from the old faithful 1/4 inch jacks; there just is not enough room for them any longer! -Stuart K5KVH
