This is the first weekend I have had the time to play with my Orion.
After having the sweep on and listening to the Orion and FT 1000MP Mk/V for
a few hours the Orion audio quit.

I could see movement of the S meter and a hum from the audio but no
intelligibility.
I turned off the Orion and it worked fine for another 2 hours and the same
thing happened.

WHY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is supposed to be a contest grade radio,. which means hours of use.
It's useless if it only works for a few hours.

I'm trying to be constructive, however this radio has problems that should
have been addressed before I got my hands on it.
