Good question, except perhaps more guys were interested in ruining the good
audio with an HC-4 or something :-)

Of course, it's unclear just how "custom" the Studio One is, but it does
sound good on the Orion.  Guess it wasn't selling well, or Heil just moved
on to other things and stopped making it.  There's a fancy new mike family
coming out from Heil that has been all the discussion rage over on the 7800
list, but one wonders why all the fuss since the transmit audio spectrum on
that radio is fairly limited.
