Not sure about experience, but go here http://www.sherweng.com/table.html .
I think the Corsair(I) and II are pretty close to the same. As one can see
it's almost dead even with the OmniVI+. I did notice the Corsair was
measured with an ssb filter so it might have been a little better with a cw
filter, but not close to an Orion. W4ZV probably can elaborate more.

Subject: [TenTec] Corsair vs. Orion (weak signal)

Recently a large interest in "ANALOG" transceivers has been discussed.

It has been stated by some and confirmed by others that the Corsair II had
an outstanding ability to pull in weak signals in the presence of other
[strong] QRM. If I recall correctly, some of you even stated that you found
it out-performed the Omni VI+ under these circumstances.

Two things:

1.	Can anyone confirm this or did I miss-understand you guys?
2.	Those of you with Corsair II's, have any of you tried this
comparison to an Orion? If so, how did they fair?

In speaking with an engineer who "should" know, he thought that this was
possibly an AGC challenge and that the Orion's AGC should be able to excel
in this discipline.

Just wonder what you guys have experienced?
