Well I think you have to carry it to the next level.

My profile:

In Contests:
95% CW
 5% SSB
 0% Other

Otherwise:
25% CW
73% SSB
 2% Other

And during this Otherwise, it's probably 90% listening and 10%
transmitting, so the percentages shown under otherwise actually only
apply to 10% of the total time the rig is turned on (except for
contests).

So how do you put that into a statistic?

The ARRL poll has me wondering. What is the distribution of operating
modes on this list? Are we 80% CW? Maybe some computer smartie can
figure out a way to construct a poll. I'd guess mostly CW but maybe SSB
is stronger than I think. And what of those digital modes?

Here's my HF mode breakdown:
  CW - 90%
  SSB - 10%
  All others - 0%

I listen to SSB more than I work SSB and it is a great reminder of why I
love CW. SSB sounds too much like CB radio to me. YMMV of course.

I guess my love for TenTec rigs is tied to being 90% CW. If I were an
SSB jockey, I might be running a Kenwood or Icom.
