[TenTec] v2.0 firmware...

Don mentions shipping by UPS and ensuing damages. I am still struggling
with trying to get a settlement over a UPS damage claim. The shipment
arrived at my door on 11/16. The driver did a "drop and run" number. That
is not UPS policy when damage is evident and in this case the box had a 10
inch gash in the side, which penetrated through to the inside box and both
layers of packing material. Of course UPS denies the claim saying it was
"damaged due to inadequate packing". Well, duh, if airplanes didn't hit the
ground they wouldn't crash either. Just be advised to insure adequately,
keep all of your paperwork and receipts and if you must ship by UPS, spend
the extra $$ for 2nd day. At least that way, it won't get handled 175 times
and hopefully they will land the airplane before they unload it.
