Santa Claus surely knows how to please you! The OMNI VI+ is a very fine radio especially if it is equipped with a INRAD roofing filter. I use it with the 600hz INRAD roofing filter and think it is just as good as a ORION for CW contesting. I also have a K2.

A beautiful Omni VI Opt 3 just arrived from Santa...oh what a nice 
radio.... I love my K2, but it's tiny and it just doesn't feel as nice as 
this rig does.  Now off to spend some quality time with the manuals in one 
hand.....

I can tell this is going to be the beginning of a lasting relationship!
