The XG1 may be what you're looking for and it's only $39.00. It's fixed at
7.040 MHz but rich in harmonics. I've found it to be a very useful little
item.

Actually I have been thinking of hooking some kind fo RF generator to one of
the blank antenna jacks so that when the
bands are so bad I think everything is broken, I can switch it in to confirm
all is well.
Some kind of stand alone Xtal calibrator might do the job.
