[TenTec] Paragon question

The original was probably a PIN diode. That's what is
in the Pegasus. I was told by Tentec that I could use
a 1N914/1N4148 as temporary replacement but that I
should eventually get the proper replacement. I asked
them to send one and a few days later it showed up in
my mailbox, no charge. Give 'em a call, I'll bet they
do the same for you.
