[TenTec] ORION (Firmware) question!!!

Interesting question.

It is definitely possible (anything is possible), but probably requires a
level of knowledge not generally available outside of TenTec (with the
possibile exception of former TT'er Doug Smith). And if someone had that
knowledge, they would be much better off creating a real update to the Orion
firmware which they could probably sell.

As a point of comparison, the Pegasus has been out since 98 (or so) and I've
never heard of anyone outside of TT who has created firmware for it.  The
Orion's only been out a couple of years.
