Anyone have any ideas for utilizing the lone Orion serial port for other things
at the same time.
At present I have the Orion serial port connected to my StepIR control box. I'd
like to also connect the Orion to my computer as well at the same time. Is
there a converter made that may convert the serial data to say a CI-V
connection like Icom uses with each unit on the line having a unique address or
is this an Icom exclusive???
This way everything could be connected to the same line and not interfere with
each other like a LAN.
I need to control the Orion from my computer while at the same time maintaining
communications with my StepIR box.
Thoughts?
