Not quite finished.  I believe that InRad suggests that it is advisable to
null the carrier before the job is complete.  I have an Omni V rather than
an Omni VI so I'm unable to advise on the procedure.  No doubt others will
be able to guide you on this last step,

1. With rig facing you, turn it over.
2. Remove bottom cover.
3. remove bottom shield.
4. On the left rear you have 2 optional filter slots. Don't use those. 5.
There is a filter on the far left (non optional). This is your 2.4khz. 
6. Remove this 2.4khz and insert the 2.8khz filer. This completes the 9 
mhz filter installation.
7. The filter board on the right is your 6.3mhz IF. It has 4 slots. 
8. The far rear one is the non-optional 2.4khz filter. 
9. Replace it with your 2.8khz filter. 
10 You are done. Don't mess with any jumpers.
