It's the way all lists work, especially any kind of
techno/product-related/gear-head list.  This one is no less ornery or nasty
than the rest of them.   

Problem with these things is that EVERYBODY has:

(1) a better idea, 
(2) an MSEE/PhD with 30 years experience building similar systems which were
absolutely perfect and without fault of ANY kind, 
(3) are just smarter than everyone else and ended up on the end of the gene
pool that the rest of us only dream about, or 
(4) still working through childhood issues with their mothers.

I tend to believe it's #4 most of the time :-)
