[TenTec] Advantages of computer control for s DX'er - N9DG'sVHF+lineup

I agree 100%, Jim. I've got two complete contesting stations here completely
set up with PC control and Writelog contesting software. It sure beats the
pencil logging and dupe sheets of the earlier days with separate
transmitters and receivers as far as efficiency goes in making fast QSO's
without nearly as much efforts.
I just can't agree with operatorless contesting that had been mentioned, my
sarcasm was about that and not anything to do with PC control of rigs,
antenna selecting and positioning, frequency selections and Band Changes,
memory keying voice, CW, and digital modes, etc.

My comments were just to say what fun could it possibly be to not have any
human interaction or participation in a contest. Any further discussions on
this slightly out of hand and off tread topic would be likely best done
direct as it is probably not of general interest to the reflector mainstay,
but rather about contesting, which I believe the majority of TenTec
reflector readers may not have interest. Sorry for the bandwidth on the
reflector over a weak moment of intended humor.
