In addition;

George at INRAD is also taking order requests for the Omni
VI (or Plus) 600 hz. CW roofing filters with a 500hz. offset for
those of us who prefer lower pitched CW notes. This will be
a perfect match to cascade with the TenTec #221 - 9MHz. I.F.
CW filter made with the special 500hz. offset and will also work
independently if you have no other CW filter in the 9MHz. slot.

Contact George directly if you are interested in this special filter
as he needs to make at least 10 alike to make it feasible to start on
this special order. I know that he had at least two of us on the list
for one each of these special roofing filters as of a couple of weeks
ago. If it sounds like something that you want, call him and get on
the list.

Subject: [TenTec] INRAD taking orders for OMNI VI roofing filter

I see that INRAD is taking orders for the OMNI VI roofing filter kit.
The performance measurements on their site show that, the unmodified
stock OMNI VI has better intermod performance at 2kHz spacing than the
FT1000MPs modified with the similar INRAD kits (79 dB DR for the
stock OMNI VI, vs 71 for the FT1000MP (79 for the more expensive
FT1000MP Mk V
after modification). But, the modified OMNI VI showed 94 dB DR with a
600 Hz roofing filter, 85.5 dB with a 2.4 kHz roofing filter.
