[TenTec] Orion 1.372 Stability

If you worked for TT, and were going to get all the calls once something
was "promised," what would you say?  I think I'd suggest that the next
one could be a while off.  Look how long it took us to get 1.372, and it
was a relatively small iteration as opposed to a complete rewrite of DSP
code.  In my unreal life (I like to think radio and guitars are my real
life!) I test extremely complex computers that are almost completely
driven by firmware. FW is a very tricky business, and major rewrites can
become a considerable effort with lots of debug and churn.  I'd predict
there will be a number of fast fix packs following that major release,
but then that would be like predicting the sun will rise again tomorrow. 
It's just the nature of the business.  And rushing it out does no one any
favors.
