Orion owners.
I have noticed a problem with my Orion running on the latest firmware, 1.372. I never had the previous version as it was loaded at the factory.
When I switch the sub receiver to ant 2, that's where my beam is connected, I notice a slight decrease of signal on the main receiver??? Is it the loading of the sub receiver on the main receiver doing this. Is this normal?
I also get blasted out of my shack with the audio volume reverting to full volume. I madly reach for the off button as my ears are near bleeding from the blast! This happens, as I can remember, when I turn up the volume. Turning it back on relieves this annoyance. This is a very infrequent affair.
The other small annoyances I can live with, so far.
