Mine sounds just fine with no EQ, using either Heil ProSet Plus or an 
external speaker (an Icom, SP-20).  I typically use 2400 Hz BW to engage the 
2400 roofing filter, but wider and narrower BWs sound fine too.

Hi,

I can't seem to clean up the SSB receive on my new Orion. It is not
clean and sharp although I've tried several EQ settings.
Any help?
