Do you hear it both with an antenna connected and without an antenna?  Have 
you found any signal weaker than the birdies?

I have noticed a birdie on 20 meters on the frequencies of 14.220 and
14.270 on my Ten Tec Corsair II.

I am using the matching external VFO and Power Supply. Is there and
adjustment or correction that I can make.
