Software for Windows is not perfected after several years and various
versions of it.  Why would we think software for a limited production
product would be any easily written to perfection?

I would opine that there are bugs and errors throughout the life of ALL
software, and most learn to live with them.  Now, it would be nice if
software was a more exact science, but it remains an art as well.

Most companies write software for complex electronic equipment in house, as
they only, are in the position of understanding the analog functions they
are trying to implement in software.  Most collaborative software efforts
wind up with myriad glitches and bugs, and delays as well as expanding
expense.

Believe me, I am watching it on a contract program as we speak.  Mostly, the
software works, but some things just don't mesh with many authors working
the parts.
