[TenTec] Fw: need info on connecting 301 encoder hook-up as well asPC toOmni VI Plus

Does the 301 work if you plug it thru the Y-adapter and have the other
side of the Y disconnected?  If not, then you may have gotten a cable
that does not have all the pins wired.
