This is one of the reasons that I do not like the idea of running coax from 
the tuner to the outside where it is then connected to a balun for the 
purpose of using a balanced feed system.  Oh I realize that the coax run is 
short but at high SWR values coax gets very lossey.  From my point of view I 
rather deal with the balanced line, and it's not near as critical as most 
think, all the way from the antenna feed point to the tuner/balun output. 
I believe in extrapolating every tenth of a dB in performance out of a 
system.
