In all fairness to TT and other American manufacturers, the value of the US 
Dollar relative to the Japanese Yen increased 44% between 1995 and the end 
of 2005, and during the same period, we saw a 28% inflation rate which drove 
some of the great values we saw during that period.  That means that 
something that cost 1,000 Yen 1995 USD could be purchased today for 542 Yen, 
a little over half the original cost in Japan.
