[TenTec] Corsair II Rx Ant jack

I've had my Corsair II for several weeks now and am I
really like it. Being able to receive two signals
simultaneously using the Ext VFO is interesting and
will take a little time to fully realize its
potential. 

After reading the information in the manual about the
Rx antenna jack (phono) and the RX/TRX switch, I am
still confused. Doesn't take much with me.

Is it strictly for another antenna?
What's the advantage of a second antenna?
If no antenna is connected to that jack should the
switch be open?

The manual says it can use a secondary receiver with
the switch in TRX. I just don't understand the hookup
here. I need a diagram. Does that mean I can connect
an RX-320 to this jack? That doesn't seem right
because it would be an audio connection from the
RX-320 or is the RX-320's antenna input connected here
for reception from the transmit antenna?

How have you used this Rx antenna jack?
Show me some diagrams, please.
