As a professional driver I find your response both insulting and stupid. The
fact I will not be required to learn a "foreign language", Morse code, has
no bearing on what type operator I am or will be upon upgrading. Morse code
is not amateur radio. It is one of many means and methods of transmission,
and admittedly one which some day I may wish I knew, but it isn't the
determining factor of good and evil. Would it help you and all the other
insecure souls who are wailing and gnashing their teeth if we reinstate the
code requirement and to further help you feel secure add Swahili to the
requirement list?
