[TenTec] Omni D series B

Sent this to the wrong thread before:

Some of you guys asked me to keep the reflector updated on the "new to me" OMNI D series B transceiver.

Well it is all hooked up and ready for some A/B testing against my IC-775. Already I like the audio better. 

So far, for some reason given the same signal, it seems to stand out in the room better.

Only thing I can tell that is wrong with it so far, is that the S-Meter light does not light up.

Using the A/B switch switching the rigs instead of antennas, my whole family (including me) is amazed at the clarity of the audio on
this rig. Even though the signal strengths are the same, the audio is much more copyable on the TENTEC.
