There may be timing/priority issues, but I find it hard to believe that the CPU is 
overloaded.

Maybe we just need to add some ten-tec RF boards to a Cray XT3 to solve the 
problem.  It could probably handle all the DSP stuff itself, as well as the control 
functions and sweep.

The downside is the price, oh, and power and space :-)
