[TenTec] Triton IV Digital (544) Problem

I used to own a TT Model 544, bought it new in the late sixties.  Kept until 
last year.  The digital display does cause birdies at some points.  
Solution:  avoided those spots.

It will be interesting to find out how you solved this problem
