[TenTec] Orion II Curiosity

Martin,
The TS-50 does have some speech processing. I never discovered how much.
I run the SP at 4 on the Orion II. I want punch not hifi for DX. In fact, that's what started this. I was unable to break through a pile up I thought I should have, but let's not go down that path. There does appear to be about a 3 db difference in indication between the two radios that I did not expect. I was hoping someone could point me to what I'm missing. It may be nothing more than I need more time with the radio to better learn its operation as compared to others.
