There is a bug in the O1 software in which keyer Mode A and 
Mode B get reversed.  Perhaps this is what you are experiencing.

There is a glitch in the software that prevents proper switching between
A &
B. If the Orion is turned off with the keyer in B mode then it will be
on A
when turned back on. A is the normal iambic mode.
