[TenTec] Omni Vi and DSP

Well yes there is.  It is the PTT input on the DSP-9+.  Connect this jack to 
the N.O. contact on the rear of Omni VI Plus.  Be sure to activate the relay 
function on the Omni VI Plus.  Upon entering transmit, this will then 
de-activate the DSP while in transmit.  In using this unit on CW this will 
take the DSP out of the circuit to allow the normal transceiver sidetone to 
pass.  Otherwise,  there is no need to mute the DSP as this is handled in 
the transceiver.

For what it's worth, the with the Omni VI Plus and the DSP-9+ the audio 
notch feature is fast enough in evaluation of a heterodyne and the desired 
CW signal that it will attempt to notch the CW signal thinking that it is a 
heterodyne.  The manual notch on the Omni VI Plus works much better.
