This thread is getting past the point of reason.

But .. BW, PBT, AF gain, RF gain, POWER, or other functions controlled by
MULTI  -- appear to have no effect.  The HI/LO cut control does not work
while sending -- and I'm thinking ... sooooo what.

On the other hand, I'm more likely to just spill my coffee down the front of
the radio than mess with this stuff while transmitting.  Or maybe if I try
to mess with this stuff I'll knock the cup over.  Whichever.  Besides, I can
barely chew gum and actually be sending CW at the same time anyway

The power switch, however, when turned to the OFF position seems to cause
TRANSMIT to fail.  Both receivers and the display go dead too.  I guess I
need to remember not to fiddle with THAT control in the middle of a
transmission.  Must be a bug .... ;-)
