[TenTec] preventing keyclicks on an Orion I

I was running in the FISTS Sprint today and someone came on to tell me I  had 
clicks 1 Kc away.  I was running 700 watts with the rise set a  6ms.  I upped 
it to 7 ms but don't now if it made a difference.
 
I suspect his receiver was deficient and over loaded.
 
The devil in me said - the wider the signal the more people hear you.   hee
