My comment was not intended to ridicule anyone.  I was offering an 
observation.    I apologize if it came across the wrong way.  If I paid $4K 
or more for a rig, I would also be dismayed to see it eclipsed so soon.    
My gear, all out of date when i bought them, are rapidly becoming more out 
of date but what I have does what I want to do so I'm okay with my gear for 
now.
