In the case of solid state, there is not much choice other than no-tune 
since the outputs can be easily broad-band matched to 50 Ohms and they 
generally use fixed low-pass filters for harmonic rejection.  Auto tuning is 
only to match a non-50 +j0 Ohm load, which can be done internally or 
externally, auto or manual, just like in transceivers.
