Jack,
I use KaGold with my KAMPlus. The computer is running Windows XP, but I've used KaGold with Windows 95 and 98.. The link to Interflex for their software is: http://www.interflex.com/private/frame.htm<http://www.interflex.com/private/frame.htm>
For me it works better than pacterm for windows.

  Subject: [TenTec] TNC/Packet Software Help

Back on list now and starting to get settled in to new QTH.
During the move, my packet computer, circa 1994, crashed. So I bought a used computer with windows xp, hooked it up to my kantronics kam plus, and realized that the 2 need software to talk to each other.
After speaking with the kantronics people, they explained that the kam plus has been out of service for years. The software they had me download, pacterm, is not what i was using. I don't like the screen for pacterm, and I still can't make my tnc talk to my computer. I have tried unsuccessfully to download hostmaster II plus, but no joy. Can anyone recommend a simple solution for me?
Any help appreciated, but please, no tutorials on software downloads. I have enough stuff in my head as it is, and I have no interest in cluttering it up anymore with worthless info on computer programs.
I just want a simple way to download or acquire the hostmaster program, or something similar, which will get my packet station QRV.
I freely admit that I am a computer idiot.
