[TenTec] Argonaut V question

i have used the Argo V for nearly four years as a CW rig exclusively. Some
of the noise you may encounter
is probably residential ambient noise. If I go to an isolated area, the
noise level is S3 or less. With proper use
of the attenuator, BW, and PBT, you can eliminate much of the noise.

Crit,
Why not just add a SCAF filter, or a used Timewave DSP to the
Argonaut if you like it otherwise? Either will do a credible job of
reducing any tiring "hiss" from the audio output for a very reasonable
price.
