[TenTec] Omni 6+ on it's way

If you are a cw op then you will really appreciate the Omni 6 +. This rig
is one of the better rigs that Ten Tec has ever made and is very dependable.
You should have very little trouble with it for a very long time.

Since you do some contesting the Inrad filter would be a must. This will
give you the close in performance of the Orion on cw. Also, the Noise
reduction on CW is the best I have ever used.....much better than the one on
the Orion. It is remarkable how good that NR really is for pulling signals
out of the noise when on CW. In my opinion there is no contest between a
570 and the Omni 6+. I don't know anything about the K2/100 but I am told
it is a good rig also.

On SSB the Omni's audio is a little pinched but acceptable to my ears. I
work both CW and SSB and love this rig on cw especially. It interfaces with
the Centurion amp very smoothly.

I don't think you will be disappointed.
