I have a very early VI Plus (03A11037) in which the TXCO was added later. The flat silver pack is on a small circuit board mounted on the chassis divider near the left rear of the logic board and connected by coax labeled "5". As this radio was sold used about two years ago by TT to a local, I don't know if this was done at TT or by an earlier owner. Gary W7TEA
