Hmm, last I looked every ham radio manual for any rig tells you the type of 
mike input it has.

Of course, all too many hams and other techies don't read the manuals.

You would be amazed at what you can find there, and often they are the 
answers to common problems repeated as queries on many reflectors.

READ the manual first and it may really save you time.
