[TenTec] RF choke across Pegasus input?

A 100 uH choke across the mike input to ground would look almost like a dead 
short at audio frequencies.  He probably doesn't have any RFI and most 
likely doesn't have any transmit audio either.  So in that case, I guess one 
could say "problem solved".

I wouldn't advise it.
