[TenTec] LDG OT-11P Tuner for Orion II

I am contemplating purchasing an LDG OT-11P tuner and installing it in 
an Orion II.  Before doing so, has anyone else done this? How do you 
rate the tuner and the install?  LDG states it does not void the 
warrenty, hopefully this is true.
