John, I bought the TT model 305 level converter for $50 bucks on the big auction place on net. The cable goes from back of Omni 6, the 1/8 mini plug extreme right middle. Also RCA plug from 13.8 plug also on back, to power the converter. Then the converter has a DB24 serial to puter port. Works great. I use WIN-EQF logging and ham Radio Delux softeware. The latter is free. HRD has Psk also. But I do understand the DB25 on back can be used to computer. I have remote tuning knob, Model 301, into my DB25 on back. On page 3-11 of manual It says to use standard serial to connect to computer. Omni 5 has pins reversed. Hope I helped. Gud luck. Roger W4IV
