To recap:

Have logger32 working fine with Elecraft K2, now with Paragon*, but still 
no go with OmniVI+

Things I've verified:

There is serial data coming out of the Omni DB25 serial port. (Can see 
w/scope at rs232 levels)

Remote tuning pod works on serial port of Omni

Radio is being polled for Freq and Mode (can see via the debug screen in 
logger)

Tried straight serial cable, and cable w/pin 2 and 3 swapped at one end. No 
difference.

Baud rate is set the same  in logger and in Omni  (same as K2 which works!)

Things I'm not sure of:

Does the Computer ID setting in the OmniVI+  matter, if using the DB25 port?


This is really getting frustrating. All suggestions greatly appreciated.

Have you tried ICOM 735 setting?
