     My O2  that is a first production run running the latest software version 2.037j. The power output  on 75 meters reads at 100 watts on my  0rion 2 and 104 watts on my Alpha power meter  in to a Palstar 2kw dummy load.The power varies from band to band from 95 watts on 10 meters  to 108 watts on 160 meters As I run low drive 40 watts or so to drive my amp I never  see the Orion2's meter hit the peg. In my test of the transceivers I have owned .The power always very band to band and  the internal  meters are not nearly as accurate as a stand-a-lone watt meter. As for pegging the O2 meter at full output the only adjustment I know is to back your output power down a few watts .

I have owned my Orion 2 for several months and really enjoy it.  I have 
a minor complaint.  The power output according to the digital meter is 
100 and the same on the analog dial, however, into a dummy load it reads 
90 watts on two different watt meters(Drake and Daiwa).  Can someone 
tell me it there is an adjustment which I can make or is it software 
driven.   The other minor complaint is that the analog meter smashes up 
against the pin running the output  to full power and doesn't track the 
output power of the digital watt meter.  I think a rather poor design.
