[TenTec] Orion II what a fantastic radio

Hearing better than ever before.

Filters allowing me to tweak and pull in the weak DX
and eliminate the strong stations nearby.

Ants rebuilt in Spetember but I am hearing better
especially running split or simplex than when I had
the Yaesu 1000mp mark V or the original 1000mp.

I now switch back and forth between the Icom Pro II
and the Orion II but when it comes time to get in the
pile-up on CW the Orion meets the test.

This radio demands a learning curve to figure out all
the hidden secrets you can do work weak stations and
pile-up.

WHile a lot of guys were calling the XF4DL this eve I
got them with one call on  75 and 160

Gonna be a fun dx season !  

Those firmware updates are improving things for me.
